Name and Origin
Arukenimon comes from her Japanese name, Archnemon. Arachne was a girl in Greek legend who was very good at weaving. Everyone said she was so good that she must have been trained by the patron goddess of weaving, Athena. Arachne rashly challenged Athena to a contest and agreed to take the consequences if she lost. Well, Arachne won, and Athena wasn't so happy. She made Arachne feel guilty, and Arachne got so depressed that she hung herself. Athena hadn't meant to make her kill herself, so she brought Arachne back to life as a spider.
Absolutely Useless but Interesting Fact
The word "arachnophobia" is fear of spiders. Guess Arukenimon wouldn't want to have that!
