Chuumon is Sukamon's companion. He's not very powerful so he uses Sukamon as a bodyguard and he does the thinking for both of them. Kind of like Foul Ole Ron (Buggrit! Millennium hand and shrimp!) and Gaspode the Wonder Dog in Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Chuumon is kind of devoted to Mimi...I tell a lie, he's actually kind of in love with her...and he jumps in front of her when Piedmon chucks a knife at her, getting deleted in the process...

Chuuchuu is the sound that mice make in Japan. That's right, Japanese mice don't squeak, they sound like trains.
Absolutely Useless but Interesting Fact
In Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy" (of five books), we find out that the Earth was actually created for mice. (Wondering why I keep making references to comic fantasy and science fiction books? I'm addicted to them, that's why!)
